I have been a programmer for almost 30 years. I've worked in various languages and environments, from Fortran on IBM Mainframes, through games in C++, to current web development. These days I usually do back-end in Python; I've been a member of the Django core team since 2013. Besides programming, I am an avid Free Software activist. I've been a board member at Hamakor (the Israeli Open Source NPO) since 2014, and a key organizer of the PyCon Israel conferences since the first one in 2016.
