Shir is data science team leader at Intuit, the global leader in financial management software. Her roles are focused ‫ around developing algorithms and machine learning models to help safeguard the digital property of financial management products like Mint, Quickbooks and TurboTax‬ Additionally, she is the co-founder and organizer of PyData Tel Aviv meetups, the co-founder and host of “Unsupervised -podcast about data science in Israel” and give talks at various machine learning and data science conferences and meetups. Shir holds an MSc in electrical engineering and computers with a major in machine learning and signal processing from Ben Gurion University. In her previous roles she was a Lead Data Scientist at Bluevine and a researcher and algorithm developer at Takadu.
